Sarcastism (sic) and GLEE - how to lose facebook friends.

I had an entertaining run-in on my facebook status yesterday with a very stupid person!

Said person has never been a favourite of mine and circumstances pushed us together rather than actual choice. In fairness, I'd never have chosen her as a friend, not in a month of Sundays. The only thing we had in common was a person - she was married to him, I'm dating his brother. Long, private story short, we have no real need to ever see her again but she's remained on my facebook for some reason. Actually, I think it was more to keep the peace and keep things on an even keel really, you know, rising above things and not causing trouble by deleting her.

I obviously wasn't feeling very magnanimous yesterday so when she made a dig at me for liking Glee, I didn't ignore her. Our little chat went a lot like this (only abbreviated, of course) :

You: I like Glee.
Her: Glee's shit.
You: Well, I quite like it.
Her: Your taste's rubbish.
You: I don't really care what you think.
Her: Ooh, sarcastism (LOL)
you: Hmmmm. You seem to be a bit thick, there.
Her: You're such a bitch and I don't like it.
You: Good. :-)

I then deleted her. Silly bint. Fighting on TEH INTERNETZ!!!!!!111!!! I've maintained my composure with her for as long as I can - even being in her presence TWICE - out of respect for my friends who would otherwise be embroiled in a nonsense of her making. I've actually avoided speaking to her for over a year, when my first instinct was to give her a good smacking, and I think it's safe enough now to just sever all contact.

So nerr.
